360 Xperience
=============

A 360 Xperience is an environment-based interaction, exploring the surroundings of 360° captured scenes. In the 360 Xperience you can also access learning activities and self-evaluation.

Start Xperience
****************

You can :doc:`play 360 Xperience</Mobile/360Xperience>` to explore its contents from the :doc:`Xperience page </Desktop/xperiencePage>`. On the desktop platform you can also :ref:`launch a 360 Xperience in VR <360lessonlaunchVR>`.

.. note:: Functionality relying on **mobile VR headset** is disabled on desktop, and requires EON-XR on mobile device.

Launch in VR
^^^^^^^^^^^^

You can launch the 360 Xperience in **VR**, using a head-mounted device (:term:`HMD`) connected to your desktop. 

Follow the instructions in :doc:`HMD Setup </HMD/hmdSetup>` to start EON-XR using an HMD.


Create and edit Xperience
**************************

You can :doc:`create new 360 Xperiences </Mobile/create360Xperience>` and :doc:`edit existing Xperiences </Mobile/editXperience>`.

.. note:: The **edit Xperience** option is only visible for Xperiences that you have permission to edit, such as Xperiences you've created.
