360 Xperience

A 360 Xperience is an environment-based interaction, exploring the surroundings of 360° captured scenes. In the 360 Xperience you can access learning activities and self-evaluation.

Start Xperience

You can start a 360 Xperience to explore in Play mode from the Xperience page:

  1. Select Start Xperience to view and experience an EON-XR Xperience

  1. The selected 360 Xperience starts in play mode

  2. Select X to exit the Xperience

Play mode

In play mode you can access different tools and menus to experience the 360 Xperience:

  1. Select the exploration tools to view the 360 scene and annotations

  2. Name of the current 360 scene

  3. Select the navigation tools or 360 portal img-360portal to view additional 360 scenes included in the Xperience

  4. Select img-setmenu to access additional options in the experience menu

  5. Select img-activity to access learning activities and self-evaluation in the activity menu

Exploration tools

The exploration tools include:

  1. Select Annotations img-annotations to view descriptions, images and videos in the 360 scene

  2. Select Compass img-compass to view the 360 scene by moving your mobile device

Experience menu

You can select options in the Experience menu to:

Activity menu

Use the Activity menu to experience the learning assignments and tasks created for the current 360 scene.

  1. The activity icon indicates the current activity, for example img-audio

    • Select the activity icon to hide or show the activity window

  2. Select Activity menu img-menu to open the activity menu and select an activity

    • Only activities created for the Xperience are displayed

    • Video, PDF, and Image can be viewed in full screen

    • A marker img-marker indicates annotations

  3. Select Forward img-forward to go to the next activity

Identify

In the Identify activity, you must name the indicated annotation in the 360 scene.

  1. Select Identify in the activity menu

  2. Select img-identify to start the activity, this starts the timer

  3. Enter the name of the annotation, indicated by img-marker

  1. Feedback on your attempts is provided immediately. You can retry incorrect attempts until the time is up

Quiz

In the Quiz activity you test your knowledge related to the 360 scene with multiple-choice questions.

  1. Select Quiz in the Activity menu

  2. Select img-quiz to start the activity, this starts the timer

  3. Select the desired option(s):

    • For single answer questions, select an option to choose your answer.

    • For multiple-answers questions, select Submit after choosing your answers.

  1. Feedback on your attempts is immediately presented. You can retry incorrect attempts until the time is up

Locate

In the Locate activity, you find and select specific parts in the 360 scene.

  1. Select a Locate activity in the activity menu

  2. Select img-locate to start the activity, this starts the timer

  3. Tap on an annotation point and Submit your answer:

    • Annotation labels are hidden, and annotation points are displayed in yellow.

    • Tap on an annotation point to select it, the selected point turns blue.

  4. Feedback on your attempt is presented. You can retry incorrect attempts until the time is up:

    • If your answer is correct, the selected annotation point turns green.

    • If your answer is incorrect, the selected annotation point turns red. You can select another annotation point to try again.

    • If you answered all attempts incorrectly, or if the time ran out, the correct annotation point turns green.
