About 3D Assets¶
SKP (SketchUp)¶
3D objects with the .SKP file format are created in the SketchUp software. You can import .SKP files from SketchUp Version 6 through 2019.
SolidWorks¶
Files with .SLDPRT and .SLDASM file format are CAD file format used by SolidWorks.
The .SLDPRT file is the “PART” file that contains a single 3D part
The .SLDASM file is the “ASSEMBLY” file that links multiple .SLDPRT files to form a project. Upload the compressed zip file with the .SLDASM file and all .SLDPRT files.
Missing Texture¶
Assets appearing as dull gray color after importing indicates missing texture. In the setting thumbnail page, a warning about missing texture is displayed.
If texture is missing, make sure that the 3D objects includes all texture and upload the file again.
